Avenue to Peace

I was thanking my Father for…

“You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”   Psalms‬ ‭32:7-8‬ ‭

…..and He lovingly whispered to me:

“My eye is upon you continually, even when your thoughts are far from Me.   I go before you and I am your rear guard as you go through this day. Keep turning your songs and your thoughts to me, and I shall keep you in perfect peace. Don’t be worried about many things; give them to Me and trust Me wholeheartedly. Your trust in Me is your avenue to peace.”

Making It Through Grief & Sorrow

What is the secret to making it through when life feels like more grief and sorrow than you can bear? Run to the One Who has borne all our griefs and carried our sorrows (Isa 53)…Jesus has carried the pain of those burdens so that we can let go of it and entrust every piece of it to Him.
For a few years, God has awakened me in the night at 1:11, 2:22, 3:33 OR 4:44. This happened so many nights that I saw it was God getting my attention, so I’d get up to be with Him to hear from Him or worship Him.

On one particular night in 2010, He awakened me at 2:22 and started speaking to my spirit. I grabbed my journal in the dark and started writing so I wouldn’t miss any of it.

“Beloved one, just as surely as the full moon in the sky overhead shines on you as you sleep, you shall be under My watchful eye of protection and love. I am as near as your next breath.

  Simply whisper My name,

“Jesus”,

and I reach out and embrace

the one I love.

I will never leave you or forsake you.

In the dark moments of loneliness, whisper My name, I am there.

In the agony of grief, whisper My name. My Comfort shall wash over your soul and give you rest.

Give thanks in all things and your joy and laughter shall be rekindled.

My love for you will become your balm, your source of comfort and healing as you nestle into My embrace in each lone moment.

I love you, My beloved. I gave My life for you. You are my cherished bride; I long for your companionship.

“Yea, though I walk though the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for Thou art with me.”

I am with you, beloved one. Know this. I love you with a love that cannot die.”
